Things to Do

A Place for All Seasons

Our area has something to offer in every season of the year. As the year opens we live in a winter wonderland. It’s like living in a Christmas card scene. Winter gives way to spring and the awakening of nature as gardens come alive and our fruit farms provide us with the spectacular show of cherry blossom time.

In summer our lakes and beaches are filled with people enjoying the summer sunshine and the beauty and pleasure of time spent on the Great Lakes. Fall brings another season of spectacular beauty as the leaves in our forests turn from green to a blaze of color. Come celebrate the seasons with us and enjoy everything our area has to offer.
